Mr Brenner

So I just wanted to do a quick post on some waffles one of my besties V and I had on the weekend at Max Brenner in Melbourne Central. Getting a table there is a nightmare, as the place is almost ALWAYS packed - but once you get a table and get your order in, the desserts are sublime.

We shared the Tutti-frutti waffles - not because I particularly like bananas as dessert, but because V claimed "bananas are expensive!"(and so we should make the most of the extra $2 bucks that we pay for the bananas.) Turned out that we got about a finger's worth of bananas and I didn't even touch them. My focus was really on the waffles and the chocolate sauce, and the creamy ice cream and the strawberries. Mmmmm...

My weigh-in for the month is tomorrow and so all I can really do between now (which is about 10pm) and tomorrow is look at this picture. But in other news, I have lost 4 kgs, since January! Yes, it's quite a slow process as it's been more than 6 months, but considering I hardly changed my diet, I think its a decent effort! Another 9kgs to gooooooo!! (Feels odd talking about dessert and weight-loss in the same post!)

Outfit of the Day 2/7/11

I just returned home from a late session of Transformers: "Dark of the Moon". It was much better than the 2nd one, but then again, I couldn't quite remember what the 2nd one was about because it was so crap. I think I've come to terms with the fact that every Michael Bay movie kinda looks like Armageddon (I guess that's just his style). I think I also came to terms with the fact that Optimus Prime feels the need to conclude every Transformer movie with a monologue about the importance of not neglecting the humans and all that jazz. I think Michael Bay probably got the hint that the monologues were getting a bit old, because this time around, Optimus' speech was relatively short! I felt like he wanted to say more, but it was edited out.

All in all, it was quite enjoyable - there were some funny moments, there was a lot of action and I'm sure most people still can't get over the fact that dear Shia LeBoef is just so damn lucky ! For me, I just couldn't get over the fact that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley appeared to have spent MOST of the movie running around in a pair of Louboutin stilletos! I'm sure she changed into some flats once she realised she was being chased by the crazy Decepticons, but every time she had a chance to stand around and pout, she was clearly sporting a pair of Louboutins! I know, I know... it's a movie after all. :)

Alannah Hill "Heart Attack" cardigan, Forever New skirt, Alannah Hill knee highs, Miu Miu patent studded brogues, Moschino Cheap & Chic bag

The Moschino Cheap & Chic bag was purchased because I needed an awesome bag to take to Europe! It has everything that I need for this Europe trip - it's big enough to fit in all the essentials, it has a zip AND a buckle thingy, it has handles AND a shoulder strap, it has leopard print, gold hardware and part of the leather is patent.
Perfecto!
